Welcome all Gilbert High School students! Open House Night at Gilbert High School was a huge success and brought together students, families, teachers, and staff for an exciting evening filled with school spirit and community pride. The event officially began at 5:30 p.m. on April 15 after school hours, welcoming everyone with a free dinner for all who attended. As students and parents arrived on campus, the atmosphere quickly became energetic and lively as guests were invited to walk around and explore the many booths and programs that Gilbert High School has to offer.
Throughout the evening, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about clubs, electives, sports, and special academic programs available at the school. Many students proudly represented their organizations while sharing information about activities and opportunities that help make Gilbert High School a unique and supportive environment. For those who were unable to attend, Open House served as a great chance for the community to come together and celebrate student achievements and campus involvement.
As the night continued, Gilbert High School’s capstone presentations became one of the main highlights of the event. Students presented their capstone projects, which are an important part of meeting graduation requirements and demonstrating the hard work they have accomplished throughout the school year. Families and guests were able to view the creative and meaningful projects students worked hard to complete.
Before the capstone presentations began, the school’s loud and proud Club 33 1/3 held a special ribbon-cutting event that gathered a large crowd of supporters. Students, staff, and visitors came together to celebrate this memorable moment in Gilbert High School history. The event was especially exciting because attendees got to meet many of the students involved in the club, including familiar faces of the students who originally started Club 33 1/3, Jaxon Bohuslavizki and Chris “Trix” Rodriguez.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony showed how creativity, friendship, and school spirit can turn a simple idea into something meaningful for students across campus. Club 33 1/3 is the first if its kind music studio on a high school campus. Gilbert’s idea could become the protype for other school’s who feel the music buzz.
Overall, Open House Night was a fun and successful event that showcased the talent, dedication, and pride of Gilbert High School students. From the welcoming dinner to the capstone presentations and the Club 33 1/3 celebration, the evening created lasting memories for everyone who attended.
