There are two girls’ clubs on our campus. The advisors of Girls Club are calling out to all girls who might be interested in joining a club that supports them. All girls attending Gilbert are welcome to join the Girls Club. This club meets in room 40 at lunch on Fridays. Next meet up is Friday, February 2nd at lunch in room 40, with Ms. Cam.
Parents are being asked to encourage their girl students to join our “Girls with Goals” group. They held their first meeting last Tuesday, January 23rd after school from 2:30 pm-3:30 pm. The next meeting is today after school in room 25. This group is led by some of our staff including our Social Worker. The group’s main emphasis is in efforts to help our female students focus on their goals, dreams, and aspirations.
