Gilbert Alumni enjoyed their visit to Gilbert for Orientation.

On August 9th, 2023, Gilbert High School saw many of last year’s students return, as well as plenty of new faces who set foot onto the campus for the first time, riddled with nervousness, and by 9 o’clock school and orientation had begun.

Those who showed up were happy to be here. During orientation the students got information on how this school year would progress, and what to expect, as well as where to find help if they need it.

Orientation workshops featured many different lessons and activities. The overall favorite was the panel of Gilbert Graduates who spoke candidly about their experiences at Gilbert, many giving good advice on how to embrace the opportunities here.

Orientation has become a Gilbert tradition with Ms. Resch serving as the master planner for the two-day welcome back event. Everyone, including staff and teachers, seemed very happy to start this school year strong and prosperous.
