Gilbert Lab

Gilbert+Lab

Here is a message from Mr. Bonales,

We mark the conclusion of the first quarter, it is with a sense of accomplishment and determination that we reflect on the journey so far. The Gil Lab has demonstrated resilience, dedication, and an unwavering spirit in the pursuit of academic and personal growth. Here’s a glimpse of our achievements.

Our students have collectively completed an astounding 520 credits, a testament to their hard work and commitment to their education. This accomplishment translates to the successful completion of 104 semester classes, reflecting the diversity of learning experiences within APEX, Individual Learning Plans (paper based assignments), and Projects.

The majority of our students are on track to complete the 175 credits required for high school graduation and obtaining their diplomas. Their dedication to their studies and their individualized learning paths is evident, and we celebrate their progress towards this significant milestone.

In a moment of pride, we announce the graduates from The Gil Lab’s 1st quarter: Kimberly Paz Ortiz, Jason Sosa, Anthony Castro, Kimberly Rosales Martinez, Ray Tovar, Adrian Rosales, Joshua Guerrero, Mia (Mark) Solis, and Isaiah Rosales. Their success is a testament to their perseverance and determination. We celebrate their achievements and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.

While we celebrate our successes, we acknowledge that challenges exist. Some students are facing obstacles, and we want them to know that we are up for the challenge. The Gil Lab community is committed to providing the support and resources needed for every student to overcome hurdles and succeed.

Beyond academics, our students have been actively contributing to the community. The cleanup of the Gilbert High School Community Garden is nearing completion, and in the upcoming quarter, students will channel their creativity into planning the landscaping. These projects not only enrich our community but also provide valuable hands-on learning experiences.

As we move into the next quarter, The Gil Lab remains committed to the success of every student. Challenges will be met with determination, and we will continue to foster an environment where each student can thrive academically and personally.

We express our gratitude to the entire Gil Lab Community for their continued support. Together, we are creating a learning environment that embraces challenges and celebrates success.
