Forget everything you know about high school music projects. Students at Gilbert High School have officially turned a shared dream into a reality, launching a first-of-its-kind on-campus recording studio and releasing a 25-track album that is entirely written, produced, and recorded by them and their Arts Assistants.
Club 33 ⅓ is more than just a music studio or a place to hang out; it is a creative hub where alternative education students spent the 2025–2026 school year honing their craft. The resulting album showcases raw talent and personal stories, highlighting the dedication of these young artists.
Guided by teacher Ms. Frese and dedicated arts assistants Marlena Khramov, Joseph Franco, and Moses Franco, the students got hands-on experience with every step of the music business. From songwriting and beat-making to live performance, audio engineering, and album artwork, the team learned it all, and enjoyed the process along the way.
This project represents a massive journey of creativity, courage, and connection, turning a vision into a professional-level working studio and a true creative home for the student body.
