The 2026 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show in Anaheim, California, concluded last week with a powerful celebration of musical innovation and industry heritage, marking the 125th anniversary of the world’s premier music products trade event. The show showcased hundreds of groundbreaking instruments, cutting-edge audio technologies, and trend-setting gear that are poised to shape the future of music creation and performance. With 3 days of exhibits, live demonstrations, live performances, educational sessions, and awards, leading brands and emerging innovators alike are featured and provided with space to exhibit their products, reinforcing NAMM’s role as the central hub where music, technology, and community intersect. The show is also a very good place to find and from connections with brands and suppliers for future needs.
The show featured many live performances available to attendees. Two of the independent performances I was able to see were by guitarists such as Cacau Santos, and guitarist and singer Camille Kociuba. These are very amazing guitar players in their own way. Cacau Santos displays more expressive facial expressions, movement in his lower body, and presents amazing technique while playing. Camille Kociuba demonstrates a calmer and passive style while simultaneously playing and singing. Both are amazing artists who are very dedicated to the music they release
The show also has an immense amount of exhibits with versatility and demonstrations. Some of these exhibits featured products that are yet to hit the market. It was amazing to see and have the ability to pick up and experiment with many of them. The mixing consoles available were amazing, eye catching and packed with technology. These were featured in the ACC North building on the 2nd floor along with many other companies that manufactured monitor speaker, line arrays and sub woofers. The 1st floor featured many microphone related companies. Studio use microphones, drum microphones, and other things such as microphones pre amps and direct input boxes.
