Career Day

It’s Puppy love on Career Day! GHS junior and animal rights advocate, Stephany Diaz, meets Gilbert alumni and Career Day volunteer, Veterinarian Dee Davis and her volunteer rescue dog. March 8, 2019.

On March 8, 2019, guest speakers and volunteers came to Gilbert High School for Career Day. There were over 20 professionals in the Multi-Purpose room talking about their jobs and displaying their media and information. There was an Army booth, Marines booth and celebrity booth. A myriad of students perused around and asked questions, interacted with guests, and investigated the careers that interested them.  Most students enjoyed this annual opportunity to find out more about the future that awaits them. Career Day 2019 was smaller than last year, and had a new format. Feedback from volunteers, staff, and students was, “positive”, according to our administration.
