Gilbert High School has a school nurse her name is Katrina. Katrina is one of the best nice’s nurse in the Anaheim Union High School District. As a school nurse for students health her job title is a license vocational nurse. In all public schools depending on the size of their campus they should have at least 2 school nurses because 1 is not enough. Some health services provided here at Gilbert are girl’s going into labor, kids who overdose, help kids with no insurance get medical care, provided first aid/emergency, and teach kids about their health. Issues that Katrina has faced is that their is no doctor but only a nurse, child abuse was hard for her when students would talk to her about it. Attending students all at one time is sometimes hard depending on who has the first priority. Katrina was trained at American career college in which she attended. The high school she went to was Fullerton High school Junior Year and Senior Year La Sierra High School.
