Today is Tuesday, May 16th 2023. Tomorrow, Wednesday, grades are due. Seniors at Gilbert High School and all throughout the district are graduating next week.

Today is debatably the most stressed day of our entire school life. It decides if we graduate or not. Students throughout the district all woke up this morning ready to press submit on that final assignment and hear that they’re graduating, but once they got to school they realized their plans may have to change.

The internet is down. Hot spots are being used, kids are getting picked up so they can finish online work they need a laptop for. Pandemonium is lose on Gilbert grounds. Seniors are left frustrated with nothing to expect due to nothing received, besides an email from the district, saying they have no estimate for when it will be back up.

We as Gilbert students MUST find a resolution soon, before we all see each other again next year.
