Gilbert  High  School  got  two  new  recuiters  for  gilbert  soccer  team.  Two  girls  join  the  soccer  team  Jasmine  Arias  and  Kimberly  De  La  Torre.  They  are  the  firs t and  only  girls  on  the  soccer  team.  The  two girls  join  the  team  for  their  love  of  soccer  and  when  they  saw  there  was  no  girls  on  the  team  it  was  even  more  of  a  reason  to  join.  Before  joining  the  team  the  girls  felt  like  there  would  be  competition  because  they  would  be  the  only  girls  on  the  team.

When  they  got  on  the field  with  the  guys  they  showed  them  nothing  but  good  sportsmanship.  The  team  will  always  help  them  out  and  say  encouraging  words  to  them.  “Even  if  we  don’t  defeat  them  they  would  tell  us  don’t  take  it  as  a  loss  take  it  as  a  experience  to  get  better.” ~ Jasmine Arias

Some  important  words  from  the  girls  that  they  think  other  girls  should  know  if   you  are  nervous  to  join  a  team  just  like  they  did  is  independence  and  self-confidence  is  key  for  you  to  go  out  there  and  join  a  team.
