Gilbert High School had there first ever soccer game against Lion Griset Academy on April 13th. Students and Staff were able to come together to cheer along the sidelines to show support for their team.

The soccer team got their start the same way the basketball team developed, by Gilbert Gladiator students who got together and formed the team. Mr. Lara bought the students equipment and jerseys for each team member.

Members of the team included Alonso Lopez, Angel Hernandez, Eduvar Rojas, Jesus Maldonado, Gustavo Rosales, Carlos Ruvalcaba, Erick Tlachi, Angel Aquino, Joshua Duque, David Espinoza, Anthony Ondal, Christopher Barojas, Myleiby Argumendo, Rodrigo Pineda, and Mateo Ocampo.
