On January 10th the Golden Globes celebrated their 80th award show. Celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Zendaya, Angela Bassett, Collin Farrell, Jenna Ortega and Steven Spielberg showed up to this special event. Many other famous celebrities showed up as well.  Nominees for actors and shows were having laughs and fun as the hosts were making jokes as well as some award winners not having a speech just making jokes and giving out their thanks.

Award Winners include, Austin Butler for acting in a Drama Motion Picture, Cate Blanchett for also acting in a Drama Motion Picture, Ke Huy Quan for acting in a supporting role, Angela Bassett for supporting actress in a Motion Picture, Michelle Yeoh for her role in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture, Eddie Murphy accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award, Collin Farrell winning for actor in Musical or Comedy, Steven Spielberg for Directing a Motion Picture, Zendaya for acting in a Drama TV Series.

Kevin Costner though he couldn’t accept his award due to being stuck in Santa Barbra’s unfortunate weather, won an award for acting in a Drama TV Series. Quinta Bruson won for acting in a Musical or Comedy TV Series, Amanda Seyfried won an award for acting a Mini-Series or Motion Picture, Evan Peters won  acting in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture, Jeremy Allen White for acting in a Musical or Comedy TV Series, Ryan Murphy accept the Carol Burnett Award, Jennifer Coolidge as a supporting Actress in a Limited Series, Tyler James Williams winning for Supporting Acting in a TV Series or Musical, Paul Walter Hauser for acting in a Limited Series and Julia Garner in a supporting actress in Supporting TV Series.
