Gilbert Gladiators enjoyed a special morning with an event traditionally known as senior sunrise. At Gilbert High School, all were invited to attend the Celebration Sunrise at  6:15 am outside room 8. There were decorations and a warm continental breakfast served inside Ms. Resch’s room. Students and staff had donuts and breakfast cakes, Hot Chocolate and Coffee. Students dressed warm and brought blankets and stuffed animals. Some brought stuffed animals from home or the stuffed animals given out yesterday from the donations we got from ICS and Rainbow Gladiators.

Everyone who turned out had a great time watching the sunset. “I experienced the beauty of being alone in a moment, to wake up and feel reassured,” Alondra Calderone said.

This special morning is just another example of what it means to be part of the Gilbert story. Thanks to Ms. Resch and FNL for inviting everyone to participate in Spirit Week. The sunrise was indeed a delightful experience.
