On September 8, 2022  the queen of England has died at the old age of 96. Queen Elizabeth was the longest-reigning monarch in British history. Her son Prince Charles, is now the King of Britain and taking up the throne. The queen died in the Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.  The queen’s death impacted everyone throughout the country. Thousands of people gathered outside of the Buckingham Palace in central London to grieve the death of their queen.
