TUPE and FNL Host Exciting BMX Assembly with Stunt Show

Bayron Valladares, Staff writer

TUPE and FNL hosted the Big Air BMX show and all students and staff were invited. The performers shared a message about healthy choices and natural highs as part of the tobacco education and mental health awareness message.
Three extreme sport BMX riders performed incredible feats of fierce cycling, including jumping over our teachers and principal. The event took place in the new lunch area which provided great seating for the show.
FNL had a table with some Mental Health goodies and Mr. Franco created support for a Mental Health “tree”. Students and staff wrote positive affirmations and/or listed their natural highs on the leaves. This event was part of our Gilbert High School “Mental Health Awareness” focus to help normalize mental health for everyone.
