If you weren’t aware, the legendary singer, songwriter, & guitarist John Frusciante, after 10 long years, has reunited with his former band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Due to this, the band’s (now former) guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has unfortunately taken his leave. Klinghoffer originally joined the band in 2007, playing alongside Frusciante as second guitarist and keyboardist, however, he took over as lead guitarist in 2009 after Frusciante’s second departure from the group due to his struggling drug addiction, playing guitar on The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “I’m With You”. Much like I am, fans are now expressing their bittersweet emotions all over social media, rejoicing about Frusciante’s return and Klinghoffer’s exit. God Bless The Red Hot Chili Peppers!
