Congratulations to our Soapbox speech winner Kaeden Morgan! Kaeden performed his speech on March 2nd in the cafeteria, along with five other students. He won first place.

Ever since he won, Kaeden has been revising his speech a bit and practicing with his former drama teacher, Autumn Browne. “My job is to give him tips on being a better speaker, which includes vocal tone, facial expressions, and gestures,” said Browne.

The district tournament will take place at Loara High School on March 23, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Kaeden said, “I’m a bit nervous, but practice makes perfect. Feeling nervous is just a part of it.”

“I think he’s going to do great!” said Autumn Browne.

Good luck to our winner, Kade!
