Gladiators at the Holocaust Museum LA
January 27th was International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On Tuesday, January 31st, Gilbert students went to the Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles.
These students heard an actual Holocaust survivor’s experience and story. Then went on a tour learning about life before the Holocaust, Jewish Heritage, and culture, and more stories about experiences and what it was like in a camp.
It is very important to remember that everyone has a story to tell, especially with the rise of fascism and antisemitism again. Stories of these survivors and victims show their strength and determination and hopefully help society not repeat the same mistakes.
