Community Service Volunteers to Serve up Holiday Food Totes this Saturday

Pedro Sosa, Staff Writer

‘Tis the season of giving.

In an effort to help our families in need, we are putting together Food Totes/Boxes with two easy meals that families can make at home. The boxes will include ingredients needed to make BBQ chicken sliders and pasta, as well as salad bags, canned soup, and something to drink (Gatorade or Lemonade). Each box will have an approximate value of about $30.00.

If you did not get a chance to participate in the Bag of Hope project and still want to donate during this holiday season, then this is a great opportunity! You can drop off money at the Parent Center or with Daisy in the main office.

Our Gilbert goal is to serve thirty families who could really benefit from this.
And on this Saturday, December 11th, there is an opportunity or students to earn community service hours by helping with the HOLIDAY Tote program. Join the service team, 8:00-12:00 on Saturday December 11th. Hope to see you there.
