You may have seen a few carnival-esque games that went on for a few days during lunch, you may have even tried out a game or two because you thought they seemed like a fun way to pass the time or just a way to win some prizes. Much like everyone else, Abel Padilla and Kevin Navarro decided to go over and check out what was going on. After having the games explained by the students running the games, they decided to try it out out of sheer curiosity

Abel went over to the ‘duck game’ which consists of choosing a random rubber duck, flipping them over, and winning the given number of tickets that are written under it. Kevin, on the other hand, decided to give the coin ‘slot game’, where students use a coin and put it into a slot machine, the coin falls into a slot, and you receive the number of tickets numbered on the slot.

Although both of these games are based on chance, Kevin had discovered a secret method of always winning a large number of tickets, but wouldn’t disclose it while I was interviewing him. Abel on the other hand, says his win was based on pure luck. No matter the method, they were both very lucky to have their ticket chosen. Congratulations to both of you!
