Visit Anaheim comes to Gilbert High School to speak to Students about the opportunities post-high school for the hotel, hospitality, and tourism. We interviewed teachers Ms. Resch and Mr. Dechene, and student Ambassador Joshua Ramirez to gain information about this event.
Visit Anaheim Is introducing students to 400 tourist business to help support the city of Anaheim, This would be helping any interested student with jobs in the hotel hospitality tourism and helping them explore the work fields
This took place at Gilbert’s High School Multipurpose Room from periods 1, 2, and 3 on Sept

This event is going on to help students with work base learning opportunities, and to help explore their options. As Ms. Resch said, “When you come to school you want time to be valued, and when events like these occur you should attend so you can be prepared for the real world after high school.” Mr. Dechene also said, “Providing students with events like these where students can experience other professionals who have worked in these industries, can be a good way to explore post-high school career options.”
post-high school opportunities expose students to 15-20 different career fields that mostly don’t require post education. 400 different tourist businesses are a part of this program.
