At Gilbert High School where paths are tough,
we’ve made it through, we’ve fought enough
The weather’s warm, the sun’s still bright,
Here, in Anaheim, winter feels just right
no snow to mark the day,
but peace and rest in every way.
Wrapped in warmth we take a pause,
when we return we’ll rise once more,
The final bell rings, the day is done,
no more tests, only fun
The campus fades as we all head out,
Excited for what the break’s about.
But for today, we let it go,
And let the holiday’s warm winds flow.
So let the break begin today,
We’ll rest, we’ll laugh, we’ll play,
Then back to school, when the skies turn grey.
